SHAMBHALA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2022
As a testament to our creativity and artistic vision, Le Cirque de la Nuit was entrusted to produce a jaw-dropping opening ceremony stage performance production that unveiled the newly enhanced Village Stage at the 23rd annual Shambhala Music Festival on July 22nd, 2022. Inspired by ceremonial futurism, the 30-minute spectacle explored a tale of a technologically advanced society with a cyberpunk aesthetic brought to life through world-class circus acts. Our team designed and executed bespoke props & LED costuming, along with innovative apparatuses, all choreographed to an original score by the award-winning film composer, Zain Effendi. The entire production was an unforgettable display of high-calibre artistry, both visually and aurally, that left the audience in complete awe. BEAKERHEAD FESTIVAL 2019 & 2022
Le Cirque de la Nuit had an incredible experience presenting at Beakerhead, an annual one-of-a-kind Festival held in Calgary, AB, that merges art, science, and engineering in an unparalleled fashion. In 2019, Cirque Nuit wowed the audience with their 30-minute production titled Aerialis. This breathtaking performance showcased a variety of high-flying aerialists, dazzling LED props, and mirror characters from another universe. Additionally, we joined forces with B!G ART to create an unforgettable Fire Show at The Portal. After a pandemic-induced hiatus, Beakerhead returned full force in 2022, and Le Cirque de la Nuit was thrilled to participate in numerous ways throughout the entire weekend. Our stage productions were held at various locations, including a circus show under a 40-foot geodesic dome and a pop-up circus LED fashion show in collaboration with Make Fashion!

CALGARY PRIDE FESTIVAL 2019 | 2020 | 2021
Le Cirque de la Nuit is immensely proud to have collaborated with and showcase at The Calgary Pride Festival for numerous years. Our main stage productions highlight the immense talent of our performers from the Alberta 2SLGBTQ+ community, featuring a diverse range of art forms such as Drag, Burlesque, Dance, Circus Arts, and live music. It’s an honor to celebrate and support the vibrant spirit of pride and inclusivity in our community through the power of art and entertainment. In 2019, we were given the incredible opportunity to be one of the headlining acts at Princess Island Park for Parade Day. We were also honored to contribute in creating a unique virtual performance during the pandemic in 2020, and in 2021 we were beyond excited to headline again on the main stage at The Big Art Drive Inn with our 18+ production, Beyond Burlesque!
